The City Record Online (CROL) is updated each business day and includes all sections of the print edition. Procurement notices (solicitations and awards) are searchable from 2003 to present while non-Procurement notices (public hearing and meetings, court notices, auctions and sales, agency rules and special materials) are searchable from August 2013 to present. If you are searching for a notice older than these dates visit the Municipal Library for further assistance.

The Procurement section of the City Record is comprised of notices of proposed New York City procurement actions, contract awards, and other procurement-related information. Notice of solicitations and other notices for most procurement methods valued at or above $100,000 for goods, services, and construction must be published once in the City Record, among other requirements. Other procurement methods authorized by law, such as sole source procurements, require notice in the City Record for five consecutive editions. Unless otherwise specified, the agencies and offices listed are open for business Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., except legal holidays.

Procurement Notices on CROL are arranged by types of goods or services to be purchased. Notices appear from the date they are posted until the date the bid/proposal is due. The name of the agency seeking goods or services is listed as well as necessary contact information. The specific contact is listed for each solicitation. You may also consult the Agency Chief Contracting Officer list from this site for additional contacts. The notices include many abbreviations and acronyms which are defined under the user’s guide link on our home page. The procurement notices for many agencies also include an abbreviated reference to the source selection method utilized. Definitions for these abbreviations can also be found under the user’s guide link on our home page.
